Intructions for authors

General Manuscript preparation

Interested in submitting to this journal? We recommend that you review the About the Journal page for the journal's section policies, as well as the Author Guidelines. Authors need to register with the journal prior to submitting or, if already registered, can simply log in and begin the five-step process.

The manuscript should be prepared according to the following author guidelines in the word article template:

The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

1. Content and structure of the paper

The content of the paper should present an original scientific research in the area of operational research and related areas within the scope of the journal. The authors should organize their paper such that it follows the IMRAD structure, i.e. consists of the following parts:

2. Paper submission

To submit your paper, the first step is to register as a user of our Online submission system. Make sure to check that you want to register as an Author. Manuscripts must be submitted using the online submission form. It is journal policy that the online submission process must be carried out by the corresponding author. The corresponding author will receive all correspondence, including an initial acknowledgment and the decision, by e-mail.

3. Reviewing process

Every manuscript is peer-reviewed, according to the following procedures.

3.1. Initial manuscript evaluation
The Editors first evaluate all manuscripts. In many cases, the Editors will return a paper promptly to its author(s) at this stage because it clearly does not match the journal’s stated interests, scope or level of quality.

3.2. Type and duration of peer review
AKURASI employs double-blind reviewing, in which the reviewer is unknown to the author, and the identity of the author is unknown to the reviewer. Upon acceptance to review the manuscript, the reviewer is asked to submit its review within 4 weeks (in some cases, extensions to this period could be approved by the editor).

3.3. Reviewers’ report
Referees advise the Editors. The Editors’ decision to accept or to reject a manuscript will be sent promptly to the author, with suitably detailed explanations. The paper could be accepted as is, accepted with minor revisions, revised and resubmitted or rejected.

3.4. The Editors’ decision
The Editors are responsible for the final decision to accept or to reject a given manuscript, and there the process ends.

3.5. Consent to publish and copyright agreement
After acceptance of the manuscript, and before publishing in this journal, the corresponding author is required to sign (on behalf of all co-authors) the Consent to publish and copyright agreement.

According to the agreement, the author(s) retain the copyright of the paper published in this journal, they are entitled to publish the preprint of the paper by acknowledging the journal in which the paper is/will be published. The author(s) transfer the publishing rights to this journal.

4. Article Processing Charge (APC)

AKURASI is an Open Access Journal. All articles can be downloaded free of charge.
Since LPMP Imperium  (AKURASI Publisher) is non-profit and non-governmental organization, the journal must be financed by Participation fee (Article Publishing Charge) and shipment fee, that has to be paid by authors of each paper after the positive decision of the Editor-in-chief (i.e. acceptance of the paper for publication).
