AKURASI: Jurnal Riset Akuntansi dan Keuangan addresses the complete spectrum of financial accounting, managerial accounting, accounting education, accounting practices for financial instruments, auditing, taxation, public sector accounting, capital market and accounting, accounting information systems, performance evaluation, corporate governance, ethics, financial reporting and adoption of IFRS/IAS by SMEs, financial management, and related issues. All methodologies, such as analytical, empirical, behavioral, surveys, and case studies are welcome. AKURASI encourages contributions especially from emerging markets and economies in transition.
The scope of AKURASI includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:
- Business, Management and Accounting (1400) – Accounting (1402); Finance (2003); Management of Technology and Innovation (1405).
- Economics, Econometrics and Finance (2000) – Economics and Econometrics (2002); Finance (2003).
- Social Sciences (3300) – Public administration; Law and accounting ethics.

Since its first issue, AKURASI has aimed to provide a platform for academics, practitioners, and policymakers to share empirical and theoretical findings that shape accounting and financial management practices.
The journal name AKURASI (Indonesian for "accuracy") reflects its commitment to precision, integrity, and relevance in scholarly publishing. In 2021, AKURASI achieved accreditation of SINTA 4 from the Indonesian Ministry of Education and continues to strive for international indexing. The journal welcomes submissions from emerging markets and economies in transition, fostering a dialogue between local practices and global standards.
