Adequate lighting is essential to support learning activities in Islamic boarding schools. Based on field observations at Al-Misbah Islamic Boarding School, the students' learning area had insufficient lighting at night, reducing the comfort and effectiveness of learning and Quran recitation activities. Therefore, this community service program aimed to implement an off-grid photovoltaic (PV) system as a sustainable and energy-efficient lighting solution. The program included field observation, system design, installation, testing, and educational sessions on system operation and maintenance. The results showed that a 100 Wp off-grid PV system was successfully installed to supply three LED lighting points in the learning area. The educational program, attended by 46 participants, including school administrators and students, improved participants' understanding of solar energy utilization and system operation and maintenance, as demonstrated through a question-and-answer evaluation session. The implementation of the system successfully improved lighting quality in the learning area, supported students' nighttime learning activities, and increased awareness of renewable energy utilization.
