Penerapan Teknologi Smart Packaging Berbasis QR Code sebagai Solusi Peningkatan Nilai Tambah Produk Sayuran Organik Petani Lokal

Abstract

Rural areas hold significant potential for developing organic agricultural products; however, the value-added of these commodities remains low due to conventional packaging that fails to preserve quality or communicate product information effectively. This community service initiative aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of the Women Farmers Group (Kelompok Wanita Tani) in Mandalamekar Village, Cimenyan District, Bandung Regency, regarding the implementation of QR Code-based smart packaging for organic vegetable products. The execution method involved problem identification, material preparation, training workshops, practical assistance, as well as monitoring and evaluation using pre-test and posttest instruments. Evaluation results from 33 participants indicated that the average pre-test score of 13.33 rose to 23.85 in the post-test, representing a 78.86% increase. Furthermore, the participants demonstrated the capability to design more informative packaging and integrate QR Codes as a medium for product information disclosure. This activity confirms that the application of QR Codebased smart packaging effectively strengthens partner capacity while supporting the improvement of value-added and competitiveness for organic vegetable products.
