Modernization may reduce children’s familiarity with traditional medicinal plants in their surrounding environment. Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) represent a local-wisdom-based health education medium that can improve health literacy and awareness of the appropriate use of medicinal plants from an early age. This community service activity aimed to improve students’ knowledge and awareness of traditional medicinal plants through TOGA-based education at SDN Gandekan 01, Blitar Regency. The activity involved 17 students and was conducted through counseling on the definition, benefits, and utilization of TOGA, demonstrations of medicinal plants, interactive discussions, question-and-answer sessions, and evaluation. Knowledge was assessed using a closed-ended pretest–posttest questionnaire covering the definition, examples, benefits, and utilization of TOGA. The results showed an increase in the average knowledge score from 60.00 in the pretest to 84.00 in the posttest. Students also demonstrated high enthusiasm and active participation throughout the activities. The findings indicate that TOGA-based education can improve students’ knowledge and awareness of traditional medicinal plants while supporting healthy living behaviors and the preservation of local wisdom from an early age.
